More freedom and flexibility for Las Vegas visitors to enjoy the Grand Canyon
News Release
Dateline: Las Vegas, February 1, 2019
National Park Express, a tour, and transportation company offering packaged shuttle services from Las Vegas to regional National Parks, has announced an agreement with Grand Canyon West to transport visitors to the Grand Canyon starting February 1, 2019. This offer increases flexibility for visitors to reach the Grand Canyon and experience one of the Seven Natural Wonders in an efficient and affordable way.
David Huang, president of CHD said, “In order to make a Grand Canyon visit more affordable and with less travel time, we have developed a shuttle system between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon West. It is our goal to offer travelers more tools with which to plan their excursions pre-trip or during their stay in Las Vegas. Visitors demand greater freedom in when to go, and what they want to see and do. Our global guests are often searching for flexible options instead of being assigned to a fixed tour. Now they will be able to choose times to travel to the canyon as well as a variety of activities.”
Rates will start as low as $29.00 Round Trip from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon West. Visitors can pay for admission to the destination in advance, or upon arrival, starting from $47.00. This package makes an affordable way to visit the Grand Canyon, with a travel time of just over 2 hours each way, about half the time it takes to reach Grand Canyon South Rim. Grand Canyon West wants to offer Las Vegas patrons the best values and a relaxing experience when Grand Canyon comes to mind.
“Visitors are looking for ways to spend less time and less money, but not miss out on this ultimate bucket list experience”, commented Huang. “We are delighted to work with Grand Canyon West to offer this great new option.”
Colin McBeath, CEO of Grand Canyon Resort Corporation added, “We are excited to launch this program with the National Park Express and see it as a unique opportunity to change the way customers are able to travel with more ease to our destination.”
Visitors can also book a shuttle, stay overnight in a cabin at The Hualapai Ranch at Grand Canyon West (includes dinner and breakfast) enjoy a sunset, sunrise and the night sky, then return the following day to Las Vegas.
National Park Express also offers shuttles to Grand Canyon National Park, South Rim, as well as Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park and Antelope Canyon. Visitors can book one-way shuttles between these locations, as well as the surrounding communities such as Williams, Flagstaff, Sedona, Page, Kanab, Springdale, and St. George. This unique network affords the travelers with options of multi-day trips to visit these beautiful areas at their own pace. This is an excellent offering for international travelers, from all regions, who may prefer not to drive themselves within the U.S.
Visitors are also able to book activities, tours and accommodations with National Park Express in these destinations, allowing a full service travel booking option.
