National Park Express Partners with Amtrak Vacations

Expansion into Arizona, Nevada and Utah offers new options for Amtrak Vacations customers

News Release

Dateline: Las Vegas, May 21, 2019

National Park Express, a tour and transportation company offering packaged shuttle services between Las Vegas and regional National Parks, has announced an agreement with Amtrak Vacations, the Official Tour Operator of Amtrak, to transport visitors from Amtrak’s Flagstaff stop to the Grand Canyon and other locations starting June 1, 2019. This offer increases flexibility for rail travelers to reach the Grand Canyon and experience one of the Seven Natural Wonders in an efficient and affordable way.

David Huang, President of National Park Express said, “It used to be that travelers using Amtrak could only get as far as Flagstaff without renting a car to explore these nearby destinations. Now they have an affordable and convenient option to see so much more.”

Another new addition to the Amtrak Vacations portfolio is that with this new partnership National Park Express can now connect travelers by luxury motor coach from Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon directly to Las Vegas. “This opens up many new options,” Huang continues. “Visitors can start in one place and end in another and have the option of combining rail travel with other modes of transportation. A variety of new itineraries now offer more flexibility than ever.”

“It is the common goal between us and Amtrak Vacations to offer travelers more options to customize their travel experiences. Visitors demand greater freedom when it comes to their travel dates and what they want to see and do. Our global guests are often searching for flexible options instead of being assigned to a fixed tour. Now they will be able to choose times to travel to the canyon as well as a variety of activities.”

National Park Express offers shuttles to Grand Canyon National Park, South Rim, as well as Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park and Antelope Canyon. Visitors can book one-way shuttles between these locations, as well as the surrounding communities such as Williams, Flagstaff, Sedona, Page, Kanab, Springdale, and St. George. This unique network affords travelers with options of multi-day trips to visit these beautiful areas at their own pace. This is an excellent offering for international travelers, from all regions, who may prefer not to drive themselves within the U.S.

Visitors are also able to book activities, tours and accommodations with National Park Express in these destinations, allowing a full service travel booking option.
