News Release

Dateline: Las Vegas, November 12, 2020

FlixBus and National Park Express are excited to announce an agreement to work together to offer travelers a new way to book shuttle transportation to and from Grand Canyon National Park. This shuttle service, operated by National Park Express, can now be booked directly on the FlixBus app or website.

This gives travelers a whole new experience. This opens a gateway to our National Parks. It offers guests the flexibility to visit the outdoors in their own way, and according to their own timeline.

“Travelers can jump on their phones and book a trip from cities like Los Angeles or Phoenix to Las Vegas, and then to the Grand Canyon! There has never before been an option like this.” Says David Huang, President of National Park Express. “It makes the Grand Canyon more accessible than ever.”

The new ride is available as a direct route from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon National Park that will run 3 days per week. The bus will also stop at the Tusayan Visitor’s Center giving guests even more options for lodging as they plan their great outdoors escape. Visitors from Los Angeles, Phoenix, and other connecting cities aren’t left out of the outdoor fun! Passengers from those cities can book their FlixBus trip to Las Vegas and then easily catch the National Park Express shuttle to the Grand Canyon.

“FlixBus believes in connecting people with experiences—whether it’s to see a loved one, enjoy a vacation, or to see one of America’s incredible national parks,” said Pierre Gourdain, Managing Director of FlixBus USA. “Together with national park Express we’re making it as easy as possible to visit the outdoors and create moments you won’t forget.”

National Park Express is a leader in safer, healthier transportation.  During 2020, it has implemented additional protocols including UVC Light Strips installed inside vehicles, masks and temperature checks required for all participants, increased cleaning of vehicle interiors, and hand sanitizing stations inside vehicles.

Demand for convenient motor coach transportation is growing. Travelers love the increasing options available through FlixBus. More travelers are choosing to replace driving themselves, with the option to travel by comfortable and affordable motor coach.

The FlixBus model supports the interests of the travelers, and now for the first time includes visiting a National Park. This extends the freedom and flexibility from just city to city, into the unparalleled beauty of one of the Natural Wonders of the World.

National Park Express offers travelers shuttle options to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyon, Boulder City and other areas in the Southwest United States. The route between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon National Park is the first route to be included in the partnership with FlixBus.

The shuttle can be booked one way or roundtrip. For travelers wishing to spend a few days at the Grand Canyon, they can book shuttles on different days. This allows new options for hikers, rafters, and those that would just enjoy extended time in the National Park. Each ticket includes the standard 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag per person at no additional cost.
